We Are the First Czech Community Foundation

The Foundation was established in 1993 and thus became the first Czech community foundation and the second oldest foundation of this kind in Central and Eastern Europe. It is based in Ústí nad Labem.

Thanks to donations from dozens of corporate and individual donors every year, we support over 100 projects of non-profit organizations and individuals totaling more than CZK 3 million, especially in the districts of Děčín, Litoměřice, Louny, Teplice and Ústí nad Labem.

Where We Help

Every year we administer dozens of requests for financial support from local non-profit organizations, informal groups and individuals. Read the stories of those we’ve helped.

It was getting slowly lost in the lush vegetation and much of that which was really valuable had already gone for ever. We are talking about a cross in the town of Šluknov. Not being indifferent to its sorry state, the local people repaired it under the initiative of the Cultural Association of Citizens of German Nationality of the CR. A similar fate has befallen many other sites and places in our region.

The project was supported under the program pillar called People and Places.

At the Demosthenes Children’s Center, pre-school children with disabilities can play with specially trained dogs and horses. Canistherapy and Hippotherapy annually help more than 50 children from all over the Ústí nad Labem Region.

The project was supported within the pillar called People with People.

Jaroslav Krulis is a young photographer, he is energetic, full of enthusiasm and has organized several exhibitions. He always tries to bring the creations of young authors to the attention of the public. Who knows, maybe he will be the one who eventually conquers the art world.

The project was supported within the pillar called People to the Future.
